Grow, share, and connect at the Guelph Public Library’s Native Plant and Seed Workshop
October 29, 2025, Guelph, ON – Join us at the Main Library (100 Norfolk Street) on Saturday, November 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a community workshop celebrating biodiversity, sustainable gardening, and the importance of native plant seeds. Discover native plants, swap seeds, and connect with gardeners and environmental groups.
Co-hosted with the Guelph Seed Library, a project of the Guelph Tool Library, this free event features a workshop on growing native plants from seed, hands-on seed cleaning, and tables hosted by local partners, organizations, and businesses. Bring your own native seeds to donate and connect with gardeners, seed savers, and environmental advocates in your community!
“The Guelph Public Library has been such a great collaborator with the GTL and Guelph Seed Library over the years. Working with them on a Native Plant Seedy Saturday was such a natural fit. It’s an exciting opportunity where we get to work with a number of organizations towards a common goal," says Steph Clarke, Community Engagement Manager, Guelph Tool Library.
