Canada in Context Student Resource Centre Canadian Edition includes reference, periodicals, primary sources, and multimedia resources geared toward Canadian students and educators. The database includes Canadian curriculum standards with correlated content, a popular topics pick list on the home page that features one-click access to Canadian topics, and new and updated essays on Canadian topics.
Canadian Points of View Reference Provides Canadian students and researchers with a source of balanced information pertaining to a growing array of current social and political issues. Topics in Canadian Points of View Reference Centre include: the environment, health, human rights, crime, race, technology, substance abuse, and many more varied subjects of interest.
Cavendish Square Digital Topics include Dinosaurs, the Ancient & Medieval World, Earth & Space, Mythology, Writers, Science & Technology, Inventions & Inventors, Plants & Wildlife, WWI, and WWII. Includes articles, photographs, diagrams, maps, and other resource tools. Content is available in several different languages.
EBSCO - Primary Search Primary Search provides full text for nearly 70 popular magazines for elementary school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles) and full text information dates as far back as 1990.
Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia This database provides over 25,000 encyclopedic entries covering a variety of subject areas.

Kids InfoBits Kids InfoBits targets the research needs of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. It features a developmentally appropriate and visual graphic interface; a subject-based topic tree search; a full-text, age-appropriate, curriculum-related magazine; and reference content
Live Homework Help This free after-school service allows students in Kindergarten through to early university and college years -- as well as Adult Learners -- to connect to tutors for one-to-one homework help sessions. Help is available in math, science, social studies, and English. Students are immediately connected to a tutor in an Online Classroom. Live Homework Help is available seven days per week between the hours of 4 PM to 10 PM.
Middle Search Plus Middle Search Plus provides full text for 140 popular magazines for high school research. All full text articles included in the database are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles) and full text information dates as far back as 1990. Middle Search Plus also contains 84,774 biographies; 100,554 primary source documents; and an Image Collection of 235,186 photos, maps, and flags.
Muzzy Online Muzzy is a language course enjoyed by families and language beginners of all ages. Muzzy is aimed at children from preschool to elementary school age and is a great tool for individual learning, homeschooling or as a family activity. Languages include: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, Portuguese and Russian.
NoveList Plus K-8 A fantastic resource for teachers, parents, and students alike. This junior version of NoveList Plus, intended for students from kindergarten to grade 8, features detailed subject headings as well as booklists by theme and grade level.
Tumblebook Library The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books). TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.
World Book Web World Book Web offers an encyclopedia, dictionary, atlas, homework help, study aids, and curriculum guides.
