The Guelph Public Library's Teen Advisory Group helps to make the library a special place for teens. |
Who? |
Teens living in Guelph entering grades 7 through 12 are eligible to apply. |
Where? |
Meetings take place at the Main Library, on the second floor, in the Children and Youth Services Department. |
When? |
TAG meets once a month from October to June. The meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month from 4:00-5:30 PM. |
Why? |
Why not? TAG is a chance to have your say, become involved in your community and meet new friends. |
How? |
It's simple! Either complete the online form below or pick up a paper application and drop it off at any Guelph Public Library location. |
Responsibilities of a TAG member:
- Attend all meetings and be an active participant
- Suggest ways the library can better serve teens
- Offer ideas for exciting teen programs
- Volunteer to plan and run community events
- Provide feedback about the library's teen collection, including:
- Books
- Graphic novels
- Magazines
- CDs
- DVDs
- Video games
