Our staff provide general guidance and support, with a focus on helping you build digital skills and confidence. We’ll guide you through what you want to learn and practice together at your own pace. At times, we may explore solutions together or learn alongside you. All digital skill levels are welcome!

  • Social networking, mobile devices and apps
  • Job, career, or business research

Please note: Library staff are not IT professionals and cannot provide advanced diagnostics or repairs. You may be referred to other resources for issues beyond our scope.

Drop-in Tech Help

Drop-in tech help work best for quick questions and is available at all library locations. Simply ask for help at the service desk.

  • Staff will provide general guidance and technical support to the best of their ability.
  • Drop-ins are a shared service; staff cannot spend extended time with one person and may need to step away to assist others.
  • For complex requests, staff will recommend booking an appointment for more in-depth support.

One-on-One Tech Help Appointment

If you require more time or need dedicated assistance with a tech-related task, you can request a free, one-on-one appointment with our Library staff at the Main Library:

  • One-on-one appointments take place at the Main Library and will last up to one hour.
  • You can book one appointment per week, depending on staff availability. Recurring or standing appointments are not available.
