Native Plant Seedy Saturday
Join us for a community celebration of native plants, biodiversity, sustainable gardening and community growth. Co-hosted by the Guelph Seed Library, opens a new window (a project of the Guelph Tool Library, opens a new window) and Guelph Public Library, this event brings together gardeners, seed savers, native plant enthusiasts, composting royalty, and environmental advocates for a day of learning, sharing and growing.
Take part in hands-on workshops on composting and working with worms, incorporating native edible plants into your garden, and expert gardening advice!
Enjoy activities for all ages, including seed cleaning and saving demonstrations, free seeds to take home, a gardening advice clinic, arts and crafts, and information tables hosted by local organizations, businesses, and community partners. You can also bring your own native plant seeds to donate and share with others.
As part of the celebration, attendees will have the chance to win a free one-year Guelph Tool Library membership!
