Library archives preparing historical collections for move to the new Central Library

Construction of the new Central Library is progressing well, with new photos shared of the new Library archival vault currently under construction at the new Baker Street location.

Meanwhile, the Library Archives team is hard at work packing and prioritizing key collections to ensure they’re preserved and ready for their new home, including regular visits to Robert Munsch’s home to assess and assemble materials that will become part of the Munsch Archives collection housed at the new Central Library.

The Munsch Archives will offer the community a window into the stories that shaped many of our childhoods, along with a rare glimpse behind the curtain at the creator who brought them to life.
