Community Displays & Exhibits
Guelph Public Library is pleased to feature local art and community displays in our library spaces. Local artists and community organizations can share their work or displays at the library for community members to enjoy. You do not have to be a professional artist to participate; all creativity is welcome.
How to Apply:
The location and time period of your display is dependent upon availability.
- Read the Display and Exhibit policy.
- Fill out the Display and Exhibition application.
- You will be contacted by a staff member within seven days.

What supplies do I need to display my art? |
Guelph Public Library only supplies hanging hooks. Any additional supplies required are the responsibility of the artist. |
How far in advance does the library book artists for each display area? |
We schedule art displays a few months to a year in advance. |
What happens if someone wants to buy my art? |
You are welcome to display your contact card with your art, however, the Guelph Public Library's policy does not allow for prices on individual works. You can provide us with a price list with contact information which we will keep at the circulation desk in case of inquiries. |
Do I have to pay a fee to display my art? |
No fee is required. |
How do you decide which art gets displayed? |
Guelph Public Library welcomes applications from any artist but we do retain the right to refuse to display any items considered to be inappropriate and/or unsuitable for the library environment. |
